The file is installed by the installer, so not sure of the exact cause. Quite possibly because of your anti-virus software disabling it. RICHTX32.OCX is a Microsoft supplied control that is used to edit text in text boxes. You may have to make an exception with your Antivirus program.

A few other thing I should mention is that we do require administrative rights. The program will run without administrator rights once installed, but they are required to install.

Windows XP is supported, but it must be XP SP3, and it's been a little hit-and-mis for us at times. The reason being that we are compiled with Visual Studio 2120 with backward support for XP, and those are the requirements.

It is possible that the .ocx is already in use when you install Dogwaffle. Did you ever install something from Corel such as Corel Painter or CorelDraw? You may have a license checkback service running (labelled by some as spyware) that prevents installation or operation of Dogwaffle. (and possibly others)
